Rothschild UK provides consulting services for living artists and artists’ estates and foundations to guide them through all aspects of traditional planning.
People are increasingly aware of the need to carefully craft and manage the artist's heritage. Our goal is to provide thoughtful advice to artists, estates and foundations through the creation of heritage plans or the creation of foundations in challenging but ultimately beneficial processes. Our approach is artist-centric and comprehensive. We begin our work by identifying an artist’s core values and creative vision. This helps us to develop long-term plans to maintain their vision.
We have two ways to provide services. We can focus on planning, developing road maps and strategies for artists, estates or foundations. Or, we can create and implement this plan and play a more active role in legacy management.
Our team responds to personal vision and goals. Our work includes a wide range of:
Create a long-term heritage plan
Provide advice on foundation formation, including budget planning
Planning file placement
Developing traditional mission-based programs such as funding and artist residency
Support market management
Identify museums and private collections for placement or display work
Assist in exhibition planning
Assess the artist's history and background
Generate scholarships and oral history
We can suggest to retain proper legal, financial and accounting expertise. We also work with galleries, studio managers and other members of the client team.
We are committed to serving a wide range of artists, including historically underrepresented artists such as female artists, color artists and performing artists.
